Ackuretta has just released an upgraded version of their popular SOL 3D printer - the Ackuretta SOL Plus.

The SOL Plus is a bigger, more powerful version of the SOL - a great printer in its own right. The SOL Plus can print 8 models horizontally and 28 models vertically, compared to the SOL’s ability to print 3 models horizontally and 8 models vertically.

This is mostly achieved by its much bigger build platform of 17.3 (W) x 14.5 (D) x 20 (H) inches, compared to the SOL’s 10.6 (W) x 11.5 (D) x 16.4 (H) inches.

This printer is aimed at high-production labs and clinics that need to pump out a significant number of models on a daily basis.

The SOL Plus also includes a heating rod, which helps heat up resins to improve printability. Heated resins help reduce waiting times between layers and decrease separation forces, resulting in more successful prints. Also, with the increase in high ceramic-filled crown resins, heating will be a must to handle these thicker resins successfully.

Below, you can see what to roughly expect from the printing experience.

The SOL Plus is validated to handle over 10 biocompatible dental applications (Class I and Class II included), from permanent crowns to splints, dentures, and surgical guides.

As expected, the SOL Plus is natively integrated with the CURIE Plus - the UV oven automatically identifies and utilizes the correct curing profile for the resin used to print once the printing is complete.

Ackuretta’s new printer includes automated functions like the build platform lock system and post-printing tilting for resin dripping.

Ackuretta also announced some updates to their washing unit, the CLEANI.

They’ve redesigned the Dual Tank and revealed a new Tank Plus, allowing CLEANI to join SOL Plus and CURIE Plus to offer a complete 3D printing solution.

Both settings will include a hydrometer so users can automatically identify when to change the alcohol in the tank.

Ackuretta also showcased their new CURO Ortho Model aligner resin, compatible with the SOL Plus.

Some pretty exciting announcements from Ackuretta! We will review the SOL Plus shortly, so keep an eye out.
