Official Rules

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Black Box Giveaway (the "Promotion") is open to licensed dental professionals, dental students currently enrolled in an accredited dental program, and dental technicians who are legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories), Canada (excluding Quebec), United Kingdom, European Union member countries, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, or Norway, and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older) at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, and directors of the Institute of Digital Dentistry Ltd ("Sponsor"), and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each are not eligible to participate.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) on October 25, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on December 1, 2025 (the "Promotion Period"). All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.

3. HOW TO ENTER

Free Entry Method:

To enter without making a purchase, visit https://idd.to/blackboxgiveaway during the Promotion Period and complete the online entry form with your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and professional category (licensed dental professional, dental student, or dental technician). You will receive one (1) entry into the drawing.

Upon completing your free entry, you will receive a unique referral link. You may share this link with others. For each person who enters the Promotion using your unique referral link, you will receive five (5) additional bonus entries. There is no limit to the number of referral bonus entries you may earn.

Referral Winner Bonus:

If you refer someone who wins one of the first four prizes (Grand Prize through Fourth Prize), you will also receive the same prize that your referral wins. This referral winner bonus does not apply to the Fifth Prize (Education Credits).

Purchase Bonus Entry Method:

During the Promotion Period, for every ten dollars ($10.00 USD) spent on course purchases from the Institute of Digital Dentistry, you will automatically receive one (1) additional entry into the drawing. For example, a $990 course purchase will result in ninety-nine (99) bonus entries. Bonus entries from purchases are credited to your account before the drawing and do not require a prior free entry. Purchase bonus entries are in addition to any free entry and referral bonus entries you may have earned.

Additional Entry Methods:

Additional entry methods may be announced during the Promotion Period through social media channels and iDD Academy activities. All such methods will be clearly communicated and will provide equal opportunity for earning additional entries.

Entry Limits:

Only one (1) free entry per person is permitted. There is no limit on bonus entries earned through referrals or purchases. Each entrant may only use one email address for entry. Use of multiple email addresses or identities to obtain additional entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

4. DRAWING AND WINNER SELECTION

On or about December 4, 2025, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period to select five (5) potential winners and five (5) alternate winners. The drawing will be conducted by or under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email and phone within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.

5. PRIZES

Grand Prize (1): 'The Black Box' Contents - Dental Education Courses (Contents to be revealed November 24th). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $25,000 USD. The Black Box is not a physical product.  

Second Prize (1): Aesthetic Smile Design Excellence Course. ARV: $9,000 USD.

Third Prize (1): Same Day Digital Workflow Mastery Bundle. ARV: $6,000 USD.

Fourth Prize (1): Advanced Clinical Guide to Soft Tissue Surgery. ARV: $3,990 USD.

Fifth Prize (1): $2,000 USD in iDD Education Credits, redeemable toward any online course. Credits are subject to the standard iDD Education Credits terms and conditions, including six (6) month validity period and redemption restrictions.

Total ARV of all prizes: $46,000 USD (assuming one of each prize is awarded; actual value may be higher if referral bonuses result in duplicate prizes being awarded).

Prize Details and Restrictions:

• Course access prizes (Grand Prize through Fourth Prize) will be provided through the winner's Institute of Digital Dentistry online learning account within forty-eight (48) hours of winner verification.
• Education Credits (Fifth Prize) will be applied to the winner's account within forty-eight (48) hours of winner verification and are subject to standard iDD Education Credits terms, including six (6) month validity from date of issuance, maximum 50% redemption per purchase, and restrictions on use with new course launches or other promotions.
• All course prizes require winner to maintain professional eligibility (licensed dental professional, enrolled dental student, or dental technician) for the duration of course access.
• Winners are responsible for ensuring they meet all prerequisites for any courses included in their prize.
• Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be sold or gifted to another person, and no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided except at Sponsor's sole discretion.
• Prize account credentials are personal to the winner and may not be shared with any other individual or entity.
• Winners found to be sharing account access, selling course access, or otherwise violating these restrictions will have their prize access immediately terminated without refund or compensation.
• Each winner will be required to maintain a single account associated with their verified identity and contact information.
• Winners must claim their prize within fourteen (14) days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
• Winners must comply with all Institute of Digital Dentistry platform terms of service and acceptable use policies.
• All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
  
  

6. WINNER VERIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Before being declared an official winner, each potential winner will be required to complete and return a Winner Verification Form within five (5) days of notification. The form will require:

• Verification of eligibility status (licensed professional, dental student, or dental technician)
• Proof of professional license, current enrollment, or certification as applicable
• Government-issued photo identification to verify identity
• Acceptance of these Official Rules
• Execution of liability release and publicity rights grant (where permitted by law)
• Tax documentation as required by applicable law

Failure to complete and return all required documentation within the specified time period, or return of prize notification as undeliverable, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The identity of the potential winner must match the entry information provided and be verifiable through government-issued identification.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• Tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion
• Acts in violation of these Official Rules
• Acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner
• Uses multiple identities or fraudulent contact information
• Uses automated systems to participate or enter

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion.
If the Promotion is terminated before the scheduled end date, Sponsor will select winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, damaged, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt by Sponsor.

8. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize.

The Released Parties are not responsible for:

• Technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind
• Lost, unavailable, or interrupted network connections
• Failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions
• Damage to the entrant's computer equipment or any unauthorized access to or alteration of entries
• Any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused by the entrant's participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize
• Inaccurate entry information, whether caused by entrants or by any equipment or programming associated with the Promotion

Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

9. PRIVACY AND DATA USE

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://instituteofdigitaldentistry.com/privacy-policy. By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to receive promotional emails from Sponsor related to digital dentistry education. Entrants may opt out of such communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email or by contacting support@instituteofdigitaldentistry.com.

10. PUBLICITY RIGHTS

Except where prohibited by law, participation in this Promotion constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and jurisdiction of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities as reasonably requested by Sponsor.

11. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

Except where prohibited by law, by entering this Promotion, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of New Zealand. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

12. WINNERS LIST

For the names of the winners, available after December 15, 2025, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Black Box Giveaway Winners List, Institute of Digital Dentistry Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand. Requests must be received by January 15, 2026.
