Big news from Ackuretta, they’ve announced some interesting updates for their ALPHA AI slicing software that could reduce failed prints by up to 75%!

ALPHA AI allows you to import your file, choose the 3D printer and resin used, select the desired layer thickness, orientate and add supports to the application, and then slice it, ready for printing.

Ackuretta's ALPHA AI Premium, an enhanced version of the software, offers auto-orientation, AI-generated support building, and two upgraded features

  • Three new compatible applications (Denture Base, Denture Teeth, Removable Die)
  • The ability to access ALPHA AI on 4 devices simultaneously.

Ackuretta has also added a 2-year subscription option to match the warranty length of its Ackuretta SOL 3D printer. New 1 and 2-year subscribers will receive an extra month free.

Ackuretta says that ALPHA AI's automated support generation, orientation, nesting, and slicing features can dramatically increase print success rates and productivity while requiring minimal design training.

The company argues that incorrect orientation actually accounts for 75% of failed prints, so using AI to ensure correct orientation could really boost your practice’s efficiency.

The software integrates with Ackuretta's 3D printing hardware solution as well.

ALPHA AI is free. The Premium version pricing is as follows:

  • $30 a month.
  • $295 a year.
  • $495 for two years.

You can download the software here.

With these new updates, it looks like Ackuretta has seriously considered how to make the workflow as simplified as possible.

It’s pretty amazing how AI can be used to massively increase efficiency in dentistry - what are your thoughts on these new updates?
